With panoramic views and an intimate atmosphere, this outstanding 20th-century garden, set around a romantic house and ruins, in beautiful woodland provides an idyllic setting for your wedding reception. There are two locations within the beautifully maintained gardens of Nymans for marquee wedding receptions.
Containing many unique and rare trees which surround a wild flower meadow, the Pinetum was re-designed after the Great Storm of 1987, with a theatrical horse-shoe of pines focussing on the Messel Temple. The panoramic views from here encompass the Sussex High Weald extending out unspoilt towards the South Downs, creating a picturesque landscape backdrop.
The alternative option is to use the Main Lawn with its colourful and scented flower beds, topiary and one of the grandest cedar trees in the country. The intimate atmosphere of the Main Lawn is heightened by the dramatic ruins of Nymans House.
