Nurscombe lies in the hidden Thorncombe Valley, near Bramley, 30 miles south of London. Starting life as a Hall house in the 1500’s, Nurscombe is now a family house with a garden enclosed by old barns, walls and stables of various ages which provide ample idyllic photo opportunities. You enter the courtyard through an arch under a 16c barn.
The surrounding 40 acres of land is still farmed and sheep graze most of the year. The woodlands are managed and wildlife abounds. There is a pond opposite and a stream beyond. The property is within the Surrey Hills area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and from here there are many good walks and places of interest to visit.
